Sunshine Coast Afloat is proudly back operating under our original name, with the same much loved vessel Crusader 1, the same experienced crew, and the same unforgettable cruise experiences our guests know and trust.

A re-berth. A re-launch. A return to our oceanic roots.

Our vessel began life as a working fishing boat, built for the ocean and shaped by life on the water. That heritage is part of our story and part of what makes every cruise with us feel authentic, relaxed and unmistakably Sunshine Coast.   Over time, she was thoughtfully reimagined into a purpose built cruise vessel, designed for sightseeing, sunset soaking and celebrating life’s best moments on the water.  Meticulously maintained and professionally operated, she delivers a smooth, comfortable and high quality cruising experience, while still honouring her hardworking beginnings.  

As part of our next chapter, we now depart from a new berth behind Fisheries on the Spit surrounded by the working fishing fleet and the history of the local maritime industry.

It is a short walk from shore to vessel, but one that sets the tone beautifully.
